Rhossili to Penmaen - The Gower Way (Southern Sector)

Discover the stunning Gower Peninsula as you make your way from Rhossili to Penmaen along the Gower Way Southern Sector. Rhossili to Penmaen is a relatively long but rewarding walk, best suited to experienced walkers.

Walk Summary

Distance: 8 miles (13 km).
Time: 4-5 hours.
Walk classification: Strenuous. Linear.
Be prepared: Strong shoes or boots and waterproof clothing are advisable. The walk covers fields, farm tracks, woodland and moorland. Bring a Grid Map.
Safety information: Beware of traffic on roads.
Useful information: Car parking at Cefn Bryn. Bring your own refreshments as facilities are limited on this walk. Available at bottom of Rhossili car park, Worm’s Head Hotel, petrol station and King Arthur Hotel.

Start: Gower Way marker stone No.1 outside the church.
Finish: The southeastern end of Cefn Bryn on footpath 16, by the Gower Way marker stone no.12 (outside Penmaen, GR 527889).

Highlights
