Discover rural Gower as you make your way from Penmaen to Gowerton along The Gower Way Mid Sector. A relatively long but rewarding walk, best suited to experienced walkers.
Walk Summary
Distance: 10 miles (16 km).
Time: 6 hours.
Walk classification: Strenuous. Linear.
Be prepared: Strong shoes or boots and waterproof clothing are advisable. The walk covers fields, farm tracks, woodland and moorland. Bring a Grid Map.
Useful information: Car parking at Cefn Bryn. Bring your own refreshments as facilities are limited on this walk. No public toilets en route.
Start: The south-eastern end of Cefn Bryn on footpath 16, by the Gower Way marker stone No.12 (outside Penmaen, GR 527889).
Finish: At marker stone No.30, close to the car park in Gowerton (GR 592963).
