Looking for a low cost family day out or a rainy day plan? We’ve got lots of great ideas for budget friendly family days out. Every day’s a school day at Swansea’s museums, galleries and libraries, they’re all free to enter have activities and workshops to suit all ages year round. Not forgetting the Dylan Thomas centre, check out the ‘Love the Words’ exhibition.

For outdoor fun we’ve got our miles and miles of scenic bike paths to explore. Pack a picnic, grab a ball and head to one of our many parks and play grounds. Or get your bucket and spade for a day at one of our gorgeous beaches - fresh air costs nothing, and we’ve got plenty of that in Swansea Bay and Gower!
