Swansea is filled with dog friendly things to do, so your four legged friends won’t miss out on any of the fun!
As well as a number of attractions and activities that are dog friendly, Swansea Bay, Mumbles and Gower are also blessed with over 50 parks for you to roam and explore, as well the incredible Gower coastline – check out our walking routes and explore. We’re also blessed with beaches, which are dog friendly at set times of the year. There’s lots to get their tails wagging.

Dog Friendly Beaches
There are loads of beaches that welcome dogs. The best of the bunch (according to TripAdvisor), Rhossili Bay, allows dogs all year round.

Dogs are allowed on all of these beaches in some way shape or form – but bear in mind there may be restrictions with regards to access or seasonal dog bans. More information is available on the individual beach pages.

If the beaches weren’t enough, your pooch will be truly spoiled by our parks and outdoor spaces. They include the 200 acre Singleton Park, the ornamental gardens at Clyne, the scenic stretch of Swansea prom and numerous other parks, coast paths and river routes.

Livestock roam free around much of Gower and many walking routes cross farm land, you must keep your dog on a lead in these situations, read up on the Dog Walking Code.
