We welcome Nawr for their first music concert in the parlour with a great lineup of top musicians. It’s music inspired by Dylan’s words and although it may be experimental John Butcher and Pat Morgan have a wealth of experience in making music with top bands across the country.

Pat was brought up in Carmarthenshire, where music made a major impact. From an early age, piano, organ and TV theme tunes formed her musical taste which developed into a deep respect for electronica and bass guitar .

Along with Dave Edwards, Pat has been the foundation of the Welsh rock group Datblygu. She has also supported artists such as Gwenno and Canolfan Hamdden.

John is well known as a saxophonist whose music ranges through improvisation, his own compositions, multitracked pieces and explorations with feedback and unusual acoustics.

His well received “Resonant Spaces” CD is a collection of site-specific performances recorded during a tour of unusual locations in Scotland and the Orkney Islands.
Since the early 80s he has collaborated with hundreds of musicians – including Derek Bailey, John Stevens’ SME, Phil Minton, Rhodri Davies, Andy Moor, Christian Marclay, Eddie Prevost, Gino Robair, Fred Frith, Polwechsel, Mark Sanders, John Tilbury, Okkyung Lee, Chris Burn and The Contest of Pleasures.

Tickets In advance £10 (plus booking fee) via Nawr or phone Rhodri Davies on 01792 207229.Refreshments available and an opportunity to explore the Birthplace
