Thousands of football fans and festive revellers will be turning Swansea city centre red and white on a special day later this year.

Christmas lights
A Christmas launch party has been arranged in the build-up to Manchester United's visit to the Liberty Stadium on Saturday November 19.
The Swans clash against the world's most famous club will pit red against white – the traditional colours associated with Christmas.
Reindeers, face-painting and stilt-walkers will be among the fun at the Christmas launch party.
Swansea Council and Swansea BID staff will also be on hand to promote the annual Christmas Market that's running in the city centre from November 25 to December 18.
The market will feature 39 stalls offering a range of produce including German sausages, mulled wine and festive gift ideas.
Radio station the Wave will set up for an outdoor broadcast as the build-up to the 5.30pm kick-off against Manchester United reaches fever pitch.
The clash against the Red Devils will see the likes of Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez and Ryan Giggs playing their first ever Premier League game in Wales.
Cllr Chris Holley, Swansea Council Leader, said: "Manchester United is the most famous football club in the world and the date of their game at the Liberty Stadium was the one many fans kept a lookout for when the fixtures were published at the start of the season.
"We hope they'll bring an army of travelling fans with them and it's fantastic news that the Christmas launch party is taking place in the build-up to the big game.
"We're always looking at bringing events to the city centre that will attract thousands of people and boost traders. The combination of the Christmas launch party and the Manchester United game will generate a terrific atmosphere."
Information about other events planned by Swansea Council and Swansea BID to celebrate Christmas will be released in coming weeks.
