Where to eat in Swansea Bay, Mumbles and Gower

Eating out in Swansea

Many of our restaurants, cafés and gastropubs take pride in sourcing local ingredients, including meats, seafood, real ale and cider.

Try our uniquely-flavoured Llanrhidian salt-marsh lamb, Welsh Black Beef, laverbread, fish and shellfish from local fishermen's boats.

Not forgetting our famous cockles, hand-gathered from the sands of Gower since Roman times.

A lot of these are available from Swansea Market or farmers markets around the area.

For independent travellers' reviews of restaurants in our area, take a look at TripAdvisor's Restaurant Reviews for Swansea Bay

Or check out the Food Passion website - a mine of information on where to go for a (nice) bite to eat!

Swansea Market

is the largest covered market in Wales and sells fresh Gower cockles!
