visitswanseabay.com won the 'Best Use of Technology' award
The 2010 Swansea Bay Tourism Awards were held recently on November 11th at The Brangwyn Hall and we're very proud to announce that our website - www.visitswanseabay.com - was named as the winner in the category of 'Best Use of Technology'.
Our official destination website has seen its popularity rise steadily since its re-launch in February and now ranks highly on most search engines. Over the last 12 months, nearly 125,000 'unique visitors' have used the site to plan their holiday or short break. This is a 4% increase on the previous year. In addition, visitors are spending 10% longer on the site and looking at 33% more pages during their visit.
Congratulations also to all who our Marketing Partners who were also successful on the night, scooping no less than 8 of the 14 awards on offer.
