Shortly after leaving the Port you will be driving through the captivating coastline and countryside of the Gower Peninsula, the first in the UK to be designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Begin by winding your way through the picturesque seaside village of Mumbles, which opens out into the succession of beautiful bays and soaring cliffs of Gower.

Bays with evocative names such as Bracelet, Pobbles and Three Cliffs will lead you to the jewel in our crown, the spectacular Rhossili Bay, protected by the iconic promontory of Worm's Head as it snakes out to sea.

After drinking in the wonderful views enjoy a delicious lunch at five star Fairyhill, Good Food Guide Welsh Restaurant of the Year or at Maes yr Haf, also five star and another Good Food Guide restaurant.

Then end your tour by returning to Port via the heights of Cefn Bryn to experience vistas across the Peninsula and over the Channel to Devon.
