The redeveloped transport hub will welcome its first passengers on December 6 and provide a modern and welcoming gateway to the city for workers, visitors and shoppers.
Chris Holley, Leader of the Council, said, "I'm delighted for everyone in the city that we'll shortly have a city centre bus station that we can all be proud of.
"The new bus station is a modern and vibrant gateway to the city that will help attract more visitors and investment to the city.
The new bus station will make a huge difference to the city centre and transport links in the region.
The investment in the Metro route and the opening of the new bus station demonstrates the Council's commitment to providing modern and convenient public transport and making Swansea a destination for everyone."
The new station will house 20 bus bays, three coach stands, a modern passenger waiting area, ticketing services and Shopmobility facilities.
The project has received significant funding from the Welsh Assembly Government and the Wales European Funding Office.
