At the LC Swansea on 9th Oct 2010

Wales' National Children's Day
A national day which aims to celebrate, nurture and embrace childhood is set to take place for the second year running in Swansea. Once again the LC has teamed up with Ty Hafan Family Hospice for Young Lives to raise money and awareness for the charity on this day!
A whole day of fun to celebrate children in Wales, featuring exciting activities for both children and adults to enjoy, as well as appearances from some of Swansea's biggest stars.
Last year the event attracted 1,500 visitors and raised £2,000 for Ty Hafan.
Chief Executive of the LC, Richard Proctor said:
"National Children's Day has been celebrated in over 50 countries worldwide for many years and we felt that it was time that Wales followed suit to recognise the vital contribution that our children make to society. With the promise of a superb, fun packed line up we are sure that children and their families will have fun together on October 9th, while embracing everything that is so special about childhood."
