According to a new survey, Swansea has been named the friendliest city in Wales, and the second friendliest in Britain!
The results of the first Friendly Index showed Swansea residents were among the most neighbourly and welcoming in the country.
Compiled by health insurer National Friendly, the survey of 29 cities shows how 60 per cent of people in Swansea still regularly make time to speak to their local shop worker or pub owner. A further 40 per cent admit to regularly saying hello to people in the street.
Topping the list of friendly cities was York.
