Walk Details

Start where the railway station lane meets the A48 (near the river bridge).

Proceed past the Petrol Station then bear left and keep on until you see the Fire Station.

Turn left at this crossroads along Tynybonau Road for approx. 0.8km and after passing an industrial estate turn right up a lane which will take you through the yard of Tynybonau Farm.

On reaching a junction turn right and after about 0.5km you reach Glynhir Cross Roads, turn left along the Garnswllt Road and immediately after a humpback bridge follow the path on the left alongside the river Camffrwd.

You will reach a bridge, do not go across but continue for another 125m before turning sharp right to eventually reach the Garnswllt Rd.

Turn right along the metalled road and immediately past a small chapel, go left uphill for about 70m before turning half-right to follow alongside a small stream (Heol Dd?r). This path will reach a rough track on a sharp bend so continue uphill to Graig Fawr for some nice views (this is part of the St. Illtyd walk).

By going right you will eventually come out on a metalled road.

Go downhill for nearly 1km then follow the main road past the Comprehensive school.

After crossing the river bridge take the 2nd left to take you back to the village centre and back to the railway station.
