Gower Peninsula beaches are 'prized for their natural, unspoilt environment'

Four Gower Peninsula beaches - Mewslade, Tor Bay, Limeslade and Rhossili - are on this year's list of Green Coast Awards, which stand for great natural beauty, a clean environment and the highest bathing water quality.
Annually-reviewed, the Green Coast Awards are 'symbols of environmental excellence', established to promote and protect the environment of rural beaches in Wales. The awards aim to acknowledge and celebrate those beaches which meet stringent water quality guidelines, and which are 'prized for their natural, unspoiled environment'.
